Behind The Mic
John began his voiceover journey voicing several characters on the radio soap It’s Your World, featured on The Tom Joyner Morning Show. His voiceover work includes commercials, political campaigns, and a mini-documentary on Fela Kuti. His audiobook credits include The Humanitarians, How Weed Saved My Life, and the upcoming God of Dung.
In addition to voiceover, John has worked as a stand-up comic and performed sketch comedy with National Lampoon and iO West. He was also a member of Guy Torry’s Phat Comedy Players, performing at the legendary Phat Tuesdays at The Comedy Store.
Known for his warm, grounded delivery and strong character work, John brings both performance experience and storytelling instincts to every project.
